Vapcell S4 plus is the FIRST charger on the market have 12A charge current (3A/slot), Discharge funtion , Capacity test , Repair function, and Easily change charge current via Manual and AUTO mode.
Vapcell S4 +advanced 4 channel charger for Li-ion and Ni-Mh with multiple current settings and USB output.
This charger is fairly advanced and versatile. It can charge Li-on from 10440 to 21700 and 26650 and charge high current batteries very fast. With Ni-Mh it worked perfectly for charging. It can also discharge, test and repair batteries.
Functional description:
1.1 Manual and auto switch
On the right side of the charger there is a switch with which you can choose between manual selection or automatic distribution of the charging and discharging current.
1.1.1 Manual switch
The advantage of the manual mode is that the user can choose the ideal charging or discharging current. When the battery is charging or discharging, the default current is 500mA and flashes continuously, meanwhile you can select the desired current option. Specific and actual parameters can be found in the charging parameters table.
1.1.2 Auto switch
The charger can measure the internal resistance (DC IR) of the battery and adjust the corresponding charge current or discharge current, according to the internal resistance of the battery. Please keep the contact clean and free from grease stains. A clean contact can test the internal resistance more accurately.
1.2 Mode Button
The mode button has four functions: Charge, Discharge, Capacity test and Repair. In the standard mode of the system, batteries are charged, you can use the Mode button to select between the different MODE.
1.1.1 Charging
The system automatically detects the battery type and charges Li-ion batteries or Ni-Mh, Ni-Cd batteries. Li-ion batteries are charged in CC-CV mode and Ni-Mh, Ni-Cd batteries are charged by pulse current.
1.2.2 Discharge
This function can measure the capacity of batteries. The system automatically determines the battery type, Li-ion or Ni-Mh, Ni-Cd batteries. The discharge mode ranges from constant current to cut-off voltage. Li-ion batteries are discharged to 2.5 V, Ni-Mh and Ni-Cd batteries to 0.9 V.
The capacity displayed after discharging refers to the current capacity of the battery. The charger can discharge any battery above the cut-off voltage.
For example, if a Li-ion battery with an initial voltage of 4.0 V is discharged to the cut-off voltage with a constant current of 500 mA and a time of 4 hours. The discharge capacity is 500 mA * 4 h = 2000 mAh. Note that this is not the total capacity of the battery. If you want to maintain the full capacity of the battery, first fully charge the battery and then discharge it.
1.2.3 Test
"Cap test" is an abbreviation for the capacity test, similar to the discharge mode.
This mode works in three steps: charge-discharge-charge The charger first fully charges the battery, then discharges it with a constant current voltage until the cut-off voltage and displays the capacity of the battery. When the charger has
fully charged again, the charging capacity is not displayed.
1.2.4 Repair
Repairable Li-ion batteries and Ni-Mh, Ni-Cd batteries, when the over-discharge voltage of Li-ion batteries is less than 2.5 V or that of lithium batteries with PCB is lower than the cut-off voltage, are charged by the
Charger with a small current. This activates the lithium battery and which can continue to be used. Some Ni-Mh and Ni-Cd batteries have a memory effect. The charger can refresh the battery and reduce the memory effect by repeated charge and discharge cycles.
1.3 DISPLAY button
The parameters displayed on the screen surface are the parameters of a single battery. For example, when CH2 is displayed on the screen, all the display data shows the parameters of the battery of the second charging bay. Press
then press the DISPLAY button to display CH3, CH4, and CH1 in sequence and view the parameters of each battery in turn. The LCD display shows voltage (V), capacity (mAh, Wh), temperature (°C), internal resistance (mΩ), charging time (00:00), current (mA) and percentage of capacity clearly (%).
1.4 CURRENT Button
In manual mode, you can select the desired current yourself. In Auto mode, the system measures the internal resistance of the battery and distributes the current automatically. The S4 PLUS charger has many different options. If you want to know more about them, please read the parameter table.

1.5 USB Output
You can insert batteries into the charging slots and charge digital devices such as cell phones, tablets and other USB devices. The device starts with the battery that has the highest voltage, then all four batteries simultaneously supply power to the device being charged. However, charging via USB output only works with lithium battery.
